Prison Reset Information
Hey everyone! This weekend, we're excited to announce that the Prison Realm will be resetting. As we wave goodbye to the current season, this upcoming reset will give you the chance to start fresh, and we can't wait to see what you can do when given a new slate to start on.
The new Prison season will begin this Saturday, May 15th @ 2:00 PM EST / 5:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST.
With a new reset, comes a new spawn! Take a look at what you can expect to see:
We want to change the pace of progress on the server to make mining the key focus once more. As a result of this, we'll be changing how Prestiging works. There will no longer be a cap on the number of Prestiges, this allows grinders to keep ranking up past the previous Prestige 30 cap.
With this Prestige change means that we will updating Prestige rewards, with sell boosters provided by Prestiging being greater in the earlier/lower Prestige levels compared to the latter levels. All Prestiges will receive a sell booster, albeit of a smaller magnitude as you progress.

This season of Prison we'll be saying farewell to the Quarry as we currently know it. We've been listening to feedback from the community and understand that mining in the Quarry was becoming tedious.
As a result of removing the Quarry, we'll be changing how you can obtain Custom Ores and Pickaxes. Custom Ores will now be mineable in select Prestige mines:
- Ruby Ore: Prestige 5 Mine
- Topaz Ore: Prestige 10 Mine
- Platinum Ore: Prestige 15 Mine
- Cobalt Ore: Prestige 20 Mine
- Opal Ore: Prestige 30 Mine
- Uranium Ore: Prestige 40 Mine
- MoonStone Ore: Prestige 50 Mine
While all other Custom Ores spawn in their new mines, MoonStone Ore will use the previous Quarry method where it will periodically rain Meteorites from the sky that crash into the ground. These events will happen when previously crashed Moonstone ore has been mined.
When this event takes place and Meteorites fall from the sky, Moonstone Golems will spawn until all of the Moonstone ore is gone. There will be a maximum of 15 Moonstone Golems per ore, and they will target players who try to attack them.
We will be updating the textures we currently have for our Custom Ores as well as adding textures for all MoonStone related items.
We have completely reworked how Pets work on Prison, making them more interactive and intricate than ever before!
Elemental pets will now randomly spawn anywhere in the freeworld. All types of Elementals will spawn in any biome, however certain Elementals will have a higher chance to spawn in select biomes. Here are a few examples:
- Quartz - higher spawn chance in the Nether
- Emerald - higher spawn chance in mountains
In order to obtain an Elemental, you must catch one. Head over to the Freeworld spawn and you will find The Collector, they will sell you nets to catch the pets with.
Whilst holding a net, right-click the desired Elemental in the Freeworld to begin trying to catch them. There is a chance that you can obtain the Elemental as a pet, and when this happens the Elemental will appear in your inventory, however if you fail to catch the pet it will flee.
The Elementals you catch will have a random level from 1 to 5, with 5 being the hardest to find. Rarer types of Elementals would have an increased invisible toughness which makes them more difficult to catch. For example, Quartz Elementals would be harder to catch than Coal Elementals.
After catching your new pet, you can transfer them from the Freeworld to the Prison world, by unlocking incubator access after completing the Freeworld Bronze Tier Challenges. This grants you access to /incubator or the incubator section in The Collector. When you're back in the main Prison world, you can use /incubator and can pull pets out from the menu.
Previously you would right-click a pet from your Pet Ranch and a single pet would follow you around giving you a follower bonus. We've made a number of changes to how walking pets work.
After obtaining an Elemental in the Freeworld and placing it in the /incubator, you can go to the Prison world and do /incubator again to access it. After removing a pet from the incubator you can't place it back in, it's a one way trip!
The Elemental pet will go into your inventory when claimed. To activate the pet's Follower Bonus, you must right-click whilst holding the pet in your hand. Only one pet can have it's ability active at one time.
The pet will stay in your inventory as a pocket pet, or you can shift-right-click the pet whilst holding to get it to follow you. You don't have to get the pet to follow if you don't want to, as the follower bonus still works as normal if the pet is in your pocket. It is not necessary to physically walk your pet to level it up or gain the bonus.
Pets can still be placed and withdrawn from Pet Ranches on your plot like they previously could.
Power Item Shop
You can now access the Power Item Shop using /pshop and spend your EXP on powerful weapons with abilities that will turn the tides in PvP. Upgrade these items over time to make them even more powerful!
This destructive axe will chip away at your enemies like they were blocks of ice. Activate it's ability to deal more damage per hit for 3 seconds. Costs 10,000,000 (10M) EXP to purchase.
Barrage your enemies with a hoard of arrows to ensure they never get away! This unique bow fires additional arrows every time the bow is fired. Upgrade it to increase the amount of arrows it fires and how fast they shoot. Costs 8,000,000 (8M) EXP to purchase.
We previously had the idea to alternate between the Odyssey Outpost and the Regular Outpost. However after monitoring involvement and interactions with the Outposts this past season, we have decided to stick with the regular Outpost for the foreseeable future.
Although, we may have special maps that could include the Odyssey Outpost but these will occur a lot less frequently than we had originally planned. That being said, take a look at the brand new Outpost map!
Commodity Bank Changes
We are happy to say that our value system has been stable on Prison for the past several seasons. With our newest change, the value that you earn will come out of your own money (rather than it coming out of nowhere).
As well as this, players will be able to decide how much of their money goes towards increasing their plot’s value, with the value you can contribute being between 1-5%. This is controlled by the Commodity Bank. This means that:
- If a player sells an inventory worth $100 and the percentage of the sell going to the plot value is 1%, the player will earn $99 and will gain 1 value.
- If a player sells an inventory worth $100 and the percentage of the sell going to the plot value is 5%, the player will earn $95 and will gain 5 value.
We will be changing how you can purchase PvP Custom Enchantments for this upcoming season of Prison. Previously you would be able to purchase enchantments based on their tier: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary. With this update, you'll be able to purchase the enchantments by their level. This means that you can choose to buy a random level 1, 2 or 3 enchantment from the collective pool of PvP enchantments.
We will also be removing Minebreaker after careful consideration about its strength as an enchant.
When it comes to Refineries and SugarSmiths, we've mostly changed how the Fuel works. We've removed Fuel as a physical item and added it as a virtual currency inside each building that requires it.
Fuel can now be purchased for 2000 EXP or 200 Tokens for 1 fuel. You will be able to purchase fuel in increments of 1, 5, 10 and 50.
Lastly, the maximum fuel cap has been raised to 250, thus allowing you to have to refuel it less frequently while you continue grinding other aspects of Prison.
Teleport to somewhere else on your Plot instantly through the Taxi Sign transit system!
To set up your Taxi Sign, simply write [TAXI] on the top line of your newly placed sign. Your sign will then say that the taxi sign setup is in progress.
After you've done that, you'll need to place another sign in the area you want to teleport to. After placing the other sign, right-click it and you'll be prompted in chat to name it.
After naming it, your Taxi Sign transit system is completely set up! Simply right-click the signs to instantly teleport between the two.
There will be a maximum of 5 Taxi Sign transit systems per plot. If you want to remove a taxi sign, just chop it down and start again.
Crystal Max Merge
We are adding a max merge for Crystals that automatically merges all Crystals into the highest possible type. For example:
- 4 Basic Crystals and 3 Common Crystals would merge into an Uncommon Crystal with a single click.
- 4 Basic Crystals, 3 Common Crystals and 2 Legendary Crystals would merge into an Uncommon Crystal with 2 Legendary Crystals left over in a single click
Players who do not hold a donation rank can now use /disenchant.
For those who don't know how this process works, when disenchanting an enchantment that is not max level, you'll receive tokens. If the enchantment is max level, then you'll receive the book version of it when you disenchant.
If you disenchant a prestiged enchantment that isn't the max level, then you will lose the prestige 1. If the prestiged enchantment is max level, then you'll receive the book with the prestige level on it when you disenchant.
We've made a few changes to some existing commands as well as added a few new ones to make your life that little bit easier:
- You can use /mine while in mines
- /rumax, /rankupmax
- Players that have the /feed perk can now use the command in the Freeworld.
- You can now use the commands /payexp and /paytoken for easier currency exchange.
- Items that are disposed of using /trash are now shown in chat when you close out the menu.
- Added /ranch, which allows you to have immediate access to your ranch.
- You can now use /pot to stack certain potions.
